Braille

Our transcription service is accurate and fast.

We aim to turn round small jobs within 2 days of receipt.

We prefer to receive the information in electronic text form of MS Word. If we have to extract the text from hard copy, pdf, Quark or InDesign it will take longer and incur an additional cost.

Our normal style is to use UK Grade 2 Braille with capitals. If your client would prefer it without the capitals then let us know BEFORE we start.

We wirobind anything above about 5 pages of Braille as we do not think that treasury tags are an effective way of keeping a braille book under control.

If your document has chapters or other obvious headings we will insert a page index at the start of the braille version.
